Linux Day is the annual nationwide event that addresses the topics of open source and free software and hardware.
As always, the practical goal will be to show students, professionals and technology enthusiasts alternative solutions to proprietary software and hardware.
This year there will be big news in the format of the event! The event will take place over two days, Friday 25 and Saturday 26 October, and will be held at the Scuola Politecnica e delle Scienze di Base in San Giovanni a Teduccio.
ITDM has decided to take an active part in organising the event, to give a further sign of its strong commitment to investing in the local area, as always starting from developing human capital.
Friday 25 – Linux Day Business Edition at the DIGITA Academy (block L1, 2nd floor) – will be an opportunity for companies in our area to get to know one another and to meet the young talents who will come to see us during the event. The aim is to show those who are entering the world of work (or completing their studies) the career opportunities in our city. A chance to come and see us with your Curriculum Vitae in hand!
