According to Mainetti, the growth in Cloud use during the Pandemic is due to company employees having no choice but to use platforms and having to adapt to a lifestyle different from the one they were used to.

Mainetti also gave an overview of the need to strengthen skills within the Company.
The question to ask is: in which skills does the company perceive Gaps that need to be filled?
- Hybrid and Multicloud Management 45%
- Cloud Native Development 41%
- DevOps/Agile Methodologies 33%
- Cloud Migration Strategies 29%

The words of Silvia Candini, Managing Director of Microsoft
In the second talk, Silvia Candini stated that developers need to create and modernise the way they work.
Microsoft has been part of the Cloud world since 2018 with the following Strategy: giving developers the opportunity to be more flexible and faster in moving towards innovation, by providing them with the tools to be operational.
Silvia Candini also stated that, as of today, there is a shortage of around 150,000 people with skills in this field.
Rodolfo Falcone: The importance of Open Source and their customers’ most successful case studies.
In the third talk, Falcone stated that Red Hat’s focus over the next two years is on training, because it believes that the better prepared customers and Partners are, the faster the acceleration will be.
For Falcone, open source is leading the innovation process and offers quality, security and innovation.
Today, 90% of people use Open Source.
Thanks to Open Source, moreover, all changes will be easier, faster and cheaper.
Poste Italiane, a Red Hat customer, is today one of the most innovative companies in Italy thanks to the creation of container-based Applications which, in turn, follow a microservices approach.
The application is divided into small applications that can be worked on in parallel.
Another customer that has carried out an enormous digitalisation process, renewing its entire application map, is Snam.
Today the platform allows more than 30,000 devices to be connected simultaneously.
